Hello!  Social distancing has made it more challenging to keep an active lifestyle.  Remote learning for our PE class will consist of students submitting a fitness/activity log each week. The expectations are for you to participate in 40-60 minutes of activity each week. You may chose a workout from the suggested options or one of your own.

There will also be an opportunity for students to earn extra credit by submitting fun workouts on our course Chat.  Workouts can be found on You Tube, social media, and other online sources. Or, you can come up with your own and challenge your classmates to try it!

Each week you are challenged you to engage in a variety of fitness and/or sport specific activities.  Hopefully you all can engage in activities that increase your heart rate and match the components of fitness.  Cardiovascular Endurance (CE), Muscular Strength (MS), Muscular Endurance (ME), and Flexibility (FX).

Assignment: You will complete a weekly survey that will identify the activity, duration and fitness components addressed from your weekly fitness/activity workouts.

Extra Credit: Share an idea with your classmates on how to remain active during this time of social distancing. It can be a link to an online workout or something you have created on your own. Make sure that our Chat remains school appropriate and focused on physical education.
