AP Statistics-Mr.Reed

Hello and Welcome to the AP Statistics course page for Central High School.  I am Mr. Reed and have been teaching statistics since 2008 at Central and it is one of my most enjoyable courses each year to teach.  The course is designed around an introduction of statistics a student might take in the freshman year of college and covers the introductory topics of the field with descriptive statistics, probability, and inference.  I have included the brochure and description from College Board for the course below to give more information about the course. 

This course would be taken after successfully completing Algebra 2 or higher,  I do recommend having earned an A or B in algebra 2 both semesters if taking directly after the course.  The course does require a deeper understanding of mathematical concepts and requires a solid math background and work ethic.
